The output signal is incremental of quad type with two pulse trains divided a quarter of a pulse length to allow direction detection. Both pulse trains have inverted pulses to improve the signal/noise ratio to the input. A zero pulse is available with ¼ ordinary pulse length when marking on sensor shaft end is in line with cable outlet on speed encoder. The sensor has Exd design (flame proof) and requires a certified cable gland and a filled cable to fulfill the assembly requirements. A cable set with approved cable, cable gland and an Exe connection box (increased safety) is available as option to simplify the connection.
